I thought that was the whole point...of most of them any way. I love looking them up too, to see if there is any truth to the tales. Snopes.com is an awesome website for fact checking an urban legend.

I think it's a shame that in the name of political correctness we short change our children's education. I guess it's just another thing that parents of well rounded children will have to teach themselves.

I also believe that in every "story" or "myth" there is some truth. Everything is based on something and that something has generally occured in some facet in reality.
