Talaria, when are you going? My family and I have discussed going this year or next... I'm curious to know the sites/cities you want to see.I am planning a trip to Ireland as we speak! What draws you to India?
Ireland sounds lovely, great food and scenery! Oh and beer too of course.I am planning a trip to Ireland as we speak! What draws you to India?
My husband's matrilineage is Irish (Middleton) but I have been fascinated with the Irish culture for 20 years. I have a friend that lives in Armagh. I would love to see current archaeological digs, but I doubt I would get access, lol. I would like to see castles, Fort Navan, Portal Tombs, Rock of Cashel, Newgrange, Hill of Tara, Dublin and make my way over to Hadrian's Wall and down to Stonehenge. Someday I'll get there...India does sound very mystical. I would also like to go there sometime. I have never seen "Eat, Pray, Love"
I have a friend in Limerick Rhonda.(sorry its taken me so long to get back to you) My family is from mayo and Roscommon. I would prefer to go West but my friend recommends staying closer to Dublin. I honestly like the country and the rustic stuff so I plan on going West. She sent me a travel guide but I haven't gone through them yet. I was also considering doing Ireland, Scotland and parts of England so i can see Stonehenge. Where do you plan on going?
