Thanksgiving traditions

Do you guys have any Thanksgiving Traditions that you follow every year either alone or with your families? My family doesn't really have any traditions but my husband and I are trying to start our own traditions now that we have a child and another on the way.

Our tradition seems to change every year with some constances, but I would like to get a tradition started for my kids and I to do every year. I'm planning on letting them take part in dessert making when they get old enough. My 2 and a half year old and 6 month old are always in the kitchen with me, but just sitting and watching, though my oldest likes to bring me pots and pans or silveware; I would love it if, when they got older, we could all be in the kitchen cooking together. Of course the men in my family and my sisters spen every Thanksgiving in front of the tv watching football, which I could do without, but I suppose as far as traditions go, that's all we have. As long as football is playing they will be watching.
