Snopes.com

I've always went to Snopes.com for any odd thing I've heard for confirmation. Now I've heard it's a husband and wife team who take care of tracking down the facts. Do you think just two people can actually prove or disprove an urban legend?

Snopes is wonderful. I hadn't a clue that it was a husband and wife team though-surely there are more stories posted to that site than two could research. Maybe they trickle in too slowly though and give them time. Either way, the site is an awesome resource.

I have often thought that Snopes wasn't necessarily a good place to verify something. I have seen stuff on there that ended up not being true when I researched it elsewhere.
