I am not anti-pornography but I do loathe PETA. There are a lot of things wrong with misogyny in the pornography industry but PETA is absolutely misogynistic. Pornography in itself does not have to be misogynistic (thought much of it is) but PETA is an organization that has made it clear that women are objects to be used for advertising. The people in this particular organization have made a choice to depict women in this way and I imagine that the pornography they create is going to be more misogynistic than most. It's not about the sex women are choosing to have on film, it's about the use of women's bodies as advertising tools for a completely unrelated purpose. Does that make sense? I feel like I rambled a bit.
