Great antique book

My mother-in-law recently moved from my husband's childhood home. She had a box of things she found in the attic that belonged to my husband when he was a kid. One of the things was a book called "The Hodgepodge Book: Containing All Manner of Curious, Interesting, and Out-of-the-Way Information Drawn From American Folklore." It has some great stories, legends and superstitions. As I find things of interest, I will post them here. It's great stuff!

I looked this book up on Borders.com which is now Barnes and Noble.com, it couldn't be found.
It sounds interesting, though. Do you know how old it is?

Nadai it was published in 1972 by Four Winds Press. The author is Duncan Emrich. On the inside cover it says "One of 1972's outstanding books of the year, New York Times Book Review." I'm sure it went out of print years ago. :)
