Chills and walking on "future" grave

I know this is more superstition than urban legend but it must have come from somewhere right? We've often heard that when you feel chills randomly someone is walking over your future grave? Actually I don't even get the sense in that, though. What does that eve mean.

I always wondered that too. But it wouldn't be hard to imagine. Eventually someone is going to tread on the spot where someone will or already has been burried. Think about all the people on the Earth and all of the people who have lived and died on the Earth. You can't really take a step in any direction and not find that someone has already lived and died where you just stood. The worl may look different, but it's still the same planet and there have been billions of peope inhabiting this planet, being born and living and dying. No field has been untrodden.
