    Fave mythocreature; I’ve have to go with the Sandwraith :D . NO, but seriously, ever since I sneakily watched An American Werewolf In London as a young kid when my parents had gone out I’ve had a fear of/fascination with lycanthropes and general werewolf mythology.

    Checking out your website at this very moment, greekgeek. I’d also like to point out that Arabic, a gendered language, uses the masculine to refer to God (Allah), but uses the feminine to denote the essence of God (al–Dhat).

    Interest in mythology; Ding ding! :) I voted ‘Greek’ because of what interested me as a young’un, but lately I’ve delved deeply into Hebrew, Mesopotamian, Arabic and — generally — Middle Eastern mythologies, legends, and religions. Damn, I wish I’d voted for ‘Other’ now…

    Perhaps… I wonder if people unearthing dinosaur bones at first ‘reconstructed’ their shapes incorrectly and created some sort of dragon–like creature from them. But legends do persist of dragons. I think they have entered our imagination and culture now, and like werewolves or vampires, will...
