Hi from newfoundland!

Hey everyone,
Great to be here! My name is Chris Lewis Carter, a writer from Newfoundland, Canada. I just discovered this forum today, and it's great to find a place filled with fellow myth-lovers. I've been a fan of mythology forever - even to the point that it's the main inspiration for my latest project, Camp Myth. If you'd like to know more about it, you can check it out here: http://kck.st/JfqrpP

Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone, and chatting it up around the boards :)
Have an awesome day,
-Chris-

Welcome, Chris! How on earth do Newfoundlanders survive in winter? To me, it would be horrific.

Welcome to the forum, Chris. I'm sure you'll love it here.
RLynn, the prairie provinces (Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba) are the worst in winter. They get piles of snow. And I believe they snow-shoe it everywhere!:) Either that, or ski.:D

North Dakota is bad enough for snow. I was thinking about the cold + humidity of the extreme eastern provinces! Brrrrrr! It can penetrate to the bones.
